Anybody wonder how to write an Artist’s Statement?

Have we got the perfect ARTing for you! Join us at Writespace for a workshop on how to write an Artist’s Statement.

On Sunday, February 7th from 12:30 to 2:30pm, IMAGO is hosting a writing workshop at Writespace to help our artists learn about this often challenging subject. Writespace Director, Elizabeth White-Olsen, will walk us through the process. If you’d like to add the Facebook event to your calendar, you can head to this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1546221359022420/

This workshop is PERFECT for those who are new to writing Artist’s Statements but plan to submit artwork to our 2016 Holy Week Art Show in less than a month. (Yes, you read that right, less than a month. Get creating!)

We are limited to 15 attendees, so please RSVP to this link to hold your spot. We are asking for a $5 donation to Writespace as a thank you to them for providing this workshop.

For those who haven’t been to Writespace before, please follow the link below to see specific directions on how to navigate the Silver Street Studios complex as it can be confusing.

Hope to see you there!

For those unfamiliar, an ARTing is when we gather together at local art events to have fun and fellowship! During the spring semester of 2016, we are holding various ARTings rather than formal meetings.
