AMPLIFY is an art show hosted by IMAGO and Houston’s First Baptist Church to celebrate the 2012 Holy Week before Easter. The show runs from March 25 through April 8th (Easter Sunday) in the Main Foyer of the church.
AMPLIFY consists of art inspired by worship music, from timeless hymns to contemporary praise songs. Each work of art serves as a reflection, metaphor, explanation, or amplification of how the song effects the artist.
AMPLIFY exhibits work by amateur and professional artists and represents a wide range of skill levels, mediums, & styles. This year we are also proud to announce the AMPLIFY Student Show featuring artwork from student artists ages 8 though 18.

Houston’s First Baptist Church is located in the southwest corner of the interchange between I-10 (Katy Freeway) and I-610 W (West Loop).
